Default Exhaust/muffler plz help

Ok, I have a 02 S2000. I want a new exhasut on my car. I want my car to have that deep throaty sound like a mustang GT. Can i buy a bolt on muffler that will do that job for me? such as Flowmaster or something, or do i have to buy an entire exhaust cat-back kit that cost about 2K? Please help, thanks. I just bought a house/engaged/ and got a kid on the way so not much money.

My old exhaust is the only one that sounds like that.
Straight pipe, and deep! Sounds nothing like any other S2000.

Its straight bolt on in 3 pieces.... all u have on there is 2 res.

Its up for grabs....name an offer!

I just went the JIC single exhaust with titanium muffler and stainless pipe ($935). Weight savings is huge ... 40lbs less than the stock dual and it sounds great!

Keep in mind that you are four cylinders short for making that sound. Much of the sound that engines make has to do with the combustions per second and the firing order. Four cylinders are never gonna sound as good as 6 or 8, and they don't compare to the sound of a 12. Ever wonder why rotaries have such an irritating sound.. it is not the exhaust system!

Go with Spugen dual oval caniters and oval tips.
Best sounding, and best looking exhaust,IMO for a fair price.

Darkcrow, how much and do you have a sound clip? I am also looking for something cheap but sounds good. i know there is no such thing as chep for this car but, just for the time being, im not looking for performance at the moment, just the sound. Any ideas? Im just looking for like a bolt on muffler that sound sgreat, i cant afford a full exhaust system at the moment.
