ABS Turn off
On my NSX there is a way to disengage the ABS and Traction Control for track use.
Does anyone know if we can turn off the ABS on S2k's. Ie. like lifting the handbrake 2~3 clicks and drive above 5mph to disengage ABS. That is how it's done on my NSX, so I thought there might be a similar technique.
Thanks in Advance

According to the ETM, the parking brake switch is connected to the convertible top control unit, the brake system warning indicator light, and in Canada the DRL control unit. There appears to be no electrical connection to the ABS system.
I have not tried this myself --- Look at the Under-Hood Fuse Box layout on page 238 of your Owner's Manual. Fuse 22 is the ABS F/S (failsafe I think) and 23 is the ABS Motor. Try removing either or both of these fuses. I think I would try just 23 first. Your ABS indicator should light up indicating as a reminder for you to reinstall the fuse.

The ABS unit should be able to read the Brake warning indicator to determine if you are driving with your e-brake on. I would assume that pulling the power fuse to the abs controller would be a better plan.
I find this topic interesting. I have attended the Skip Barber High Performance School twice (not the racing school) once in the mid 90's (BMW's) and then again in Sept of 2001 (Dodge's). In both instances they had a rocker switch mounted on the console to disable the ABS. The first drill that they put one through is the threshold braking drill from 50 MPH. Marking the spot where one's front bumper stopped. On every run in both the BMW and the Dodge I proved to myself that I can stop up to almost a car length shorter (1 1/2 on my best attempt) without ABS than with it. I believe that the manufacturers should provide a switch, similar to the one that disables the passenger side air bag to give an experienced performance oriented driver the option. Has anyone tried pulling the fuse?
Yeah, but what happens when you hit the switch and your friend's wife happens to jump in your car to go to the 7/11? Somebody pulls out, oops snap crackle pop....guess who gets sued?
Pretty dumb question IMHO
