Default exhaust touching something causing rattle

hi, my invidia is making rattling noise when certain rpms when the gas pedals are let go. very annoying. It sits too high(close to bumper) and causes to rattle. and sometime i think under the car somewhere touches it too. Would getting longer hanger rubber pieces solve the problem? the mufflers move left to right (unstable) how would i fix this? if rubber pieces will help, does anyone know where to get one?
thanks
John.

longer hangers should make it sit lower if i understand what you are saying
get wider rubber pieces for a tight fit
rubber pieces? muffler shop should have them

I've experienced the same thing. I use to think it was the plastic panels behind the roll bars that made the annoying rattle. I would get the rattle from 2000-3500 rpms.

You might want to inspect the exhaust itself. I found a 3 inch hairline crack where the exhaust starts to split between the welds. This weld is found right behind the sign that says Invidia. I assume that rattle is coming from that location. I haven't had it rewelded so I wouldn't know for sure. I starting to favor the stock exhaust tone since I can now hear.
