* UPDATE * UPDATE * UPDATE * UPDATE *

OK. I went to the dealer (Howard Cooper in A^2, MI) and they indicated that 1) it is in fact the regulator and that 2) there is a TSB out for it, and 3) my car's symptoms follow the TSB problem description to a tee.

They are ordering the regulator part and it is going to be replaced on Wednesday (day after tomorrow). I will post another update to let you know how the fix went.

I'm also going to try to get a hold of a copy of the TSB. I'll post it if I am successful in getting it. -KM.

this might have absolutely nothing to do with the S2000... but over the past weekend, my girlfriend and I installed an AEM cold air in her RSX-S. We had to remove the battery. After reconnecting the battery, the auto up and down did not work anymore. Turns out, we had to push the button down, let it go down hold it for an additional 3-5 seconds after it's down, then bring up it and do the same thing. This fixed the problem... it was weird.

Boiler: That's the one. Interesting observation though: How come we do not archive the entire TSB (just the problem description) in S2KI?

You might ask Honda Gal that question. She was the one that filed the TSB.
