Default f20 head and f22 block

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone could help me out. Is it possible to have a f20 head on the f22 block? And how much power do you think I would gain from the setup? Right now I am running a inlinepro street kit and making 500whp. I was going to make my block a 2.5L but I dont have the cash right now. So im curios if the f22 block would be a good replacement for now and would the extra .2L do me any good.

Thanks for the help

The head is the same for all years, AP1 or AP2. The differance is in the cams, retainers and the vaule spings (1 side IIRC) Only the 06+ have a differant head that is is due to the change to the emissions (No exhaust ports).

The blocks are all the same too. only the crank, pistions and rods are differant.

The s2k head is very finiky. There are only a couple guys out there who k ow enough and test enough to get an increase out of the head. Just your standard port n polish can cost you hp.
