Ap2 block with Ap1 head

Default Ap2 block with Ap1 head

does a Ap2 block work with Ap1 head ? please advice thanks

Yes it does. Be sure to re-use the appropriate head cover/ sensors, meaning if you have a 2003 S2000, found a 2005 motor you want to swap into your 2003 chassis, re-use your 2003 head cover

I think this only applies if youre swapping and 00-05 head into an 06+

The blocks are almost entirely the same from 00-09, I think the main difference in the blocks is the crank sensor. Obviously make sure you have the right pistons for the cylinder bore, and right bearings for the crank, other than that have at it. You gonna buy that Ebay block?

it applies to both, it's the easiest way. I've don't both ways first hand experience

depends on if he/she uses the 04-05 F22c or 06+
