actually the work isnt that bad for me..it would be as just as easy if not easyier then doing that swap just like any other k swap ive done..300 whp is very easy to achiesve with of the shielf parts..my cive made 270whp and 202 tq with very simple build on stock rods and stock intake manifold..
doing a k swap in a s2000 i think would be very good wireing motor mounts arent the issue thi issue would be the adaptor plate and getting it made,,

Does it flow less due to valve size or port size?
It's an alltogether different head. Ports, cams, everything is different.

Its just a matter of time and money, but I'm sure someone will do it.

the K block also has many sensors missing from the F

Simply swapping up the head and wiring the ECU and fabricating mounts isn't all you have to do.

And, said mods to the F should make just as much power as the flow is much higher. The key mod is the ECU; you will need an AEM EMS.

I've said my peace with the K20 swap. If those that want to waste their time and $$$$ feel free. I'll be rocking the F20C, $$$ ahead and faster too.

Yeah...but where is the restriction for the K?

I hear that Joe Alaniz spent weeks on the F20 head and was barely able to reach a 5% improvement. Joe did his normal wacky 10" flow to find a stock value of 310cfm corrected to 28". So his 5% is 325cfm @28" and .5 lift. From what I understand...excellent port work and bigger valves on the K bring those kinds of flow numbers and more.

And still the K has VTC that the F doesn't have.

You want to know one of the big uses of VTC? Honda doesn't have to run an EGR valve to meet emmision standards. Wow. They don't need EGR with a F20C either.

variable cam just adds to the headache. keep it simple with the f20c head. plus why do you want to spend money and port the head when your stock head already flows that much?
