F20C with weird knocking sound
My friends F20C2 in S2000 has this weird knocking/ticking sound. Any ideas what it might be? TCT is new OEM Honda, rod bearings checked and they are fine. Retainers looks ok too. No metal shaving in oil.
Thanks for help, ideas.

TCT is new OEM Honda. Retainers are ok. Except one spring has some scratches, but then my guess is sound will be still same, but sometimes its perfectly fine for lets say 10-15 sec. Seems like something is loose somewhere.
New video of timing chain guides play, is this normal?

We took apart almost complet engine, everything looked ok. No damage, loose parts, etc. Just one little pin stucked on oil pick up mesh - could not make that sound as its in oil.
We were desperate, so just put engine back together and sound never came back! Really weird.

That does not sound like normal wear and tear. May be best to check the accessory belt and pulleys, first. Then, remove valve cover and inspect for loose of missing parts.
Almost sounds like the timing chain is whipping up against something, when no throttle is applied. Like its too loose. Did you have issues installing the chain tensioner?
