Factory heat shield

Default Factory heat shield

Has anyone done this If so, what needed to be modified/welded, etc?

That is the only reason I can think of for doing this. The test pipe won't produce any where near the heat that the cat did.

I have this pipe as well, unfortunately the only TP's that have the heatshield mounts are the T1R ones. You would just have to bring it to a shop to weld the brackets on the TP to line up with the cat heatshield.

I was talking with a few friends and it turns out in where i live inspections are bi-yearly, i thought they were more often. I suppose I can just swap it out if need be..

You'll have to make brackets and have them welded to the pipe.
