go to autozone and tell the guy behind the computer that you need rotors and pads for a 2001 honda s2000. that should do the trick.
was just there today. I should have asked. I just assumed there would be a lot less mark up buying online though and I'm still debating if i should get mine turned, new ones similar to oem rotors, or upgrade.

ok

well power slots look about just under 400 for a set of 4

and pads will be about 150 for all wheels?

tough choice. Ill have to see how bad the stock rotors are and if they can even be turned. Anyone know performance difference between power slot rotors and stock rotors?

If you get performance pads, you are looking at about $200 for all calipers.

The powerslot slotted will provide a little less brake fade and better stopping performance in damp conditions.

Each rotor has engraved on the hub the minimum thickness allowable in mm. The rears are 10mm and I cant remember the fronts. As long as the thickness is above this limit (And they are not warped/cracked/etc), the rotors can be turned

when I take the rotors off ill check into getting them turned depending on the price and how much rust is on them.

Tirerack has few other choice of rotors that can perform well on street. Also pads as well. Should look thru brake section and try find a people's review and figure which will fit your driving style.

I personally like centric ceramic rotors i wanted to try cryo stop rotors but didn't get to chance it yet.

But good luck.

in jan i changed the front pads and rotors myself, it was
easy enough, all i had were the instructions which are here in the sticky area and a exploded photo of where all the parts belong.

i paid about 100 each for front rotors and 40 for a set of front pads, online from a local honda dealer with tax and shipping included. i used oem parts and have never regretted it, honda spent allot of money in developement of the parts and systems in this car which are unique to the S2000, with oem you benifit from that developement money, the stock brakes are great. i had 42,000 on them, it was time.

oh, and i trust Billman if he says his way works, he has advised me and never to my knowledge steered anyone wrong.

It does

Most guys here including myself use one called ATE Super Blue racing fluid. Its labeled as DOT4 but it has higher wet and dry points.
