Default First Gear Issues!?!?

I dont know what it is, but sometimes if i am driving hard and power shift from first to second and grind second, my first gear gets real stiff, and its a pain to get it into first. Also, it seems to stick in first if i try to go to neutral....it doesnt pop out like all the other gears. The wierdest part is that after a while it goes mostly away, but once i grind second again, it starts all over.

I dont know what it is, and the dealership said most of them have that problem so i shouldnt worry about it.....

I dont trust them on that, so if anyone else knows what it is or has experienced it please let me know. One of my friends thought it might be a shift bushing or possibly a throw out bearing??!!

I have an '02 with about 4500 miles on it. Have not changed tranny fluid yet. Where did you get the GM stuff from?

I picked it up from my local Chevy dealer. I have an '02 also. I changed my tranny fluid at about 6K miles with Honda MTL, then again at about 8K miles with GM Synchromesh. The GM fluid is AWESOME!

It's also cheap like dirt. I use it in the type R as well.
