Ok I Recently Bought a 03 Left Over 000000 Miles from the Dealer on March 9, I only have 1023 Miles on my baby.

A couple of my Friends here in Puerto Rico Drives S2000 and they told me "DO NOT CHANGE THE STOCK OIL UNTILL 5k Miles or so, They told me It has a Special Additve for the Break IN and the New ENgine"

and i was like WTF? Does the oil in my S need to Be CHanged Now that is 3 Months Old, Or my friends are RIGHT and i NEED to Wait?

Change it at six months or 3,750 miles....whichever comes first.

 

why at six months? is there something Special with that Stock Oil?

 

Owners manual is very clear about not changing it before 3750 miles. What you want to do from there is your decision.
