I know have the manuals yet for my car. Besides the oil changes every 3K miles what other inspections are done? Is there a 20K mile inspection, or 30K inspection? What do all do they do at these inspections besides the oil changes? Thanks for the help.

 

Depends on the dealer. Some just change the oil, others do more. I believe the manual shows 7500 miles as the first "checkup."

 

That should read "I don't have the manuals yet for my car". I bought a lightly used 2001 S2K with 10 K miles. I just wanted to know what all the scheduled inspections were.

 

There are two sets of numbers..one "normal condiations" and one for "severe conditions". Most here use severe for obvious reasons.

Severe:
Under severe you change the oil and filter at 3,750 Mi

7,500 oil, filter, brake inspection pads and leaks, tire inflation, inspect and lube steering gearbox/tie rods/boots, suspension (bolts for tightness), inspect drive shaft boots.

11,250 another oil and filter change
