Default First problem with my '01

so i take my car for its inspection this morning... i get up early on my late day in to work to beat the lines... i get it through, they get everything done and he tells me it failed!

The car failed because there was a rip in the plastic rear glass... this was news to me as i thought everything was good... this must have been the noise i heard last night when i put the top down... Oh the luck i have!

He said i couldnt tape it, but could glue it... does anyone know of products i could use to fix the tear?: its about 3-4 inches long on the bottom part of my plastic window...

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Dude, you are in Jersey!

Read the manual... "Do not drop the top when the outside temperature is less than 50 degrees" I get nervous when it is 60 out. Plastic's flexability depends on its temperature. If last night was anything like tonight in Jersey and you dropped it at the same time as right now (6:00 pm)...... its already 45 degrees!

Luckely you can just replace the window instead of the whole top like the 02s+.
