It will never sit flush with the block. The threads are what make the seal. If you applied fresh hondabond on the threads before threading it in, you will be fine.

Damn wish I would have known that I feel like I over torqued it now. Nothing cracked thank god.

I overtorqued mine and stripped the treading in the block. Had to add an extension that goes a bit deeper into the block and put jb welding around it to strengthen it up.

Well mines tight like it's definitely not moving. I think the old sealant just made it hard to thread in deeper.
