I have a 2000 s2k and i noticed another s2000 lights flash when he locked or unlocked his car. My vehicle will not do that. Was that not an option this year? If it was how can i fix it?

 

Mine is the same year 2000 as yours and my lights flash. Once when locking and twice when unlocking.
Have you checked to make sure your light bulbs are good? Maybe you have (or had) the OEM alarm system or an aftermarket alarm system that was removed. It could have not been taken out properly.

 

I am not sure if it previously had an aftermarket alarm, but i will look into that. Yes all my lights work, They just won't flash when locked or unlocked.

 

Mine dont flash at all with the alarm.
