Floppy 'Box'
Hi Everyone,
I had an issue recently with my gear box - the shift lever was stuck 'down' and you could go from 5the stright into reverse (although it didn't engage!)
I stripped it down today and found that the whole assembly had ceased into the gearbox housing. I've sanded the plastic down a bit so the gear stick now slides up and down again - but now the gear stick is floppy when a gear is enagaged.
Does the gear stick engage with the gearbox when it's assembled, or does it just rest on shift arm within the gear box? If it's not that - I may have sanded too much from the plastic, so the box floppy.
Any comments?
