I am not sure if its normal or not cause I have never driven any other S2000's but the gearbox on mine is a bit strange don’t know if it just needs an oil change or maybe something else is going on, well it works fine as far as gear changes are involved and it doesn’t pop out of gear but it is very loud on gear changes at low rpm and sometimes it’s like its stuck in gear especially when i am in 6th and I come to a stop and I have to go to a lower gear, it’s a bit hard to get out of gear
Car is a EUDM 2000 with around 60k Miles on it

 

Im having the same issue. Could be clutch adjustment and im waiting on someone to explain to me how to do it. See my thread 3 below yours.

 

would that cause loud gear changes tho? its like i can hear the gearbox changing gears..

 

Best thing is to change that transmission fluid.

 

I don't live in USA and that has Notting to do with my problem...
