Flywheel removal question
For those of your that installed a new flywheel, were you able to effortlessly hold it from spinning with some sort of made up tool?
im trying to find out if its a real hassle ill just spend the 100 bucks on the tool

Although not an ideal technique, you can put a wrench on the front pulley bolt with the handle propped on the cross member to hold the crank still. You would want to crack the bolts loose with a swift impact rather than steady torque, and on install be sure you are exceptionally careful to tighten the bolts very evenly before you torque them down. Having the flywheel tool is preferable, but this will work.
