Default Found something weird/different

Take a look at these intakes. This one in the first two pics all I've seen, and I've seen alot. Note the angle of the boss on the intake, how pitched to the drivers side it is. It also shows the straight bracket:

Now look at this intake, a different casting. The boss is pointing straight up, and a curved bracket is used to support the fuel rail instead of a straight one:

WTF? Anybody care to explain this oddity?

Anybody wanna take a quick at their AP2 and see if that's what it is?

Doesn't make sense, as theres nowhere to bolt up the stock inj cover.

weird. Must be 2 suppliers for the bracket. Or it's providing an unfair perfomance advantage, soon to be outlawed by the SCCA

The 00 - 02's that I can remember pulling injectors on had the straight brackets.

It's not a 06. different injectors, and fuel rail. May be JDM, in that case it really is worth a fortune.
