Umm i dont recall, The service advisor called me and said the seal was bad, I didn't really get into detail with him on the problem. Once they said honda care has it covered I was happy

And I also figuered out what the rattle was coming from my exhaust was. The hangers and the weld around the flange all cracked Oh well Muffler shop here I come. And all my problems will be taken care of.


and i can go from with my S

to like it 1st started

Now that you're a happy camper, this doesn't matter to you anyway but ...................
A bad seal in the master clutch cylinder generally means that the fluid is leaking past the plunger. You won't always see this leak because the fluid remains in the master but on the wrong side of the plunger.

I'm new to these s2k boards. I been with SuperHonda for the longest...

So far everybody has been really helpful, I just wish you guys have a Reputation System like SHO does.

Whats the plunger part of the master cylinder ?? If its leaking then where does the "leak" go ??

Take a look at a syringe. The plunger sits in the middle to the stroke. The plunger consists of the rubber part and the rod that pushes/pulls it. There is fluid in front of the rubber plunger (seal) all the way to the end where the needle is. If the rubber leaked, the fluid gets past it and resides in the part where the plunger rod is. Now, if the syringe has another sort of seal around the rod where the rod exits the syringe, the fluid will not fall out of the syringe but it's not doing any good. A leaing rubber makes for a useless syringe.
