Default Front parking light

I searched and searched and still cannot find anything on replacing a blown front parking light (behind the amber plastic lens). It looks like you can reach in through a hole in the engine compartment to replace the headlights, but this corner light is too far to reach and get a grip on its holder. I saw one old post that recommended pulling the fender liner, but I'm not sure if the retaining clips/pins will get destroyed when I pull them out. Should I have replacements on hand first? They seem to be putting up a fight with my pulling on them. Did not encounter this problem with the tail light when removing similar clips from the trunk liner to replace a bulb. Finally, is this the same bulb as the tail light (which I have an extra of) or do I have to buy some other bulb? Any help much appreciated.

Unless your hands are very large you can easily reach those

I can't beleive more people have not posted on this in the past. That's interesting that you can reach the light bulb through the access hole. It seems that the hole was made to replace the headlights AND the parking lights, but I can't reach the parking. Maybe the hole is bigger on ap2s than ap1s. I am fairly large at 6'4" and have large hands, so maybe it's just me. Also, since this is on the right side my arm hits the air filter box as I try to feed my hand through. I will try to see if I can get someone with a smaller arm and hand than mine to try it. The fender liner method suggested by s2k_dre also seems like it will get the job done, just a little bit more work. I was going to try that last night but ran out of time. Thanks, jesse. The LED idea also seems interesting. I'm going to get a bulb to see what that looks like too.

Ok, I just saw that you had a CAI in your signature. I bet that is the difference... I just tried again and it seems that there is no way to reach the light socket with the air filter box in the way.
