Front wheel bearings
After changing brakes, rear left wheel bearing and recently the diff (with inner CV swap) I am still getting what I can only describe as a Shhhhing noise from the left off car.
It is very obvious next to Walls or going past traffic. The noise is speed related and becomes a whirring noise at 50mph+
Has anyone ever had a front wheel bearing go? I am running out of options and was sure it was the diff as the old one is knackered.
I have had new tyres and that didnt make a different either, hopefully it's not a gearbox bearing
Thanks

There have been several people that have had wheel bearings go out. IMO it's not common but it happens. Lot's of lateral force over time takes its toll on the wheel bearings.
How many miles on your car? Does the sound change when cornering? I've had wheel bearings going out on other cars, and the noise seems to get more pronounced when turning in one direction.
You should also jack up the car and check for wheel wobble. And spin the hub by hand to see if you can hear it up close (unlikely, but you may as well do it while you have the car jacked up).
