I would like to know if any of them work or are good/ bad for the car
Someone told me I should put in a bottle of fuel injector cleaner every few thousand miles. Are they good. And what about octane booster will I notice a difference or willt hey harm the car.

redline fuel conditioner works well for me. techtron is also a good choice. I use stp fuel treatment, and outlaw octane booster. seems to run better with this cheap californa gas we have to use. drive safe

I do fuel injector cleaner at the same intervals as my oil changes. I would only use octane boost if I suspected I got a tank of bad gas.

I use Redline SI-1 on a regular basis to keep things as clean as possible. Modern "detergent" gasolines apparently don't have as much of the good stuff as they would have you believe...not enough to keep injectors, valves and the like as clean as they need to be.

Of course I'm biased to Redline since I sell it but I wouldn't put it in my own car if I didn't think it was a good product. We're also going to be carrying a similar product from Lubricaton Engineers soon as well.

I use Chevron Techron, good stuff and they sell it in bulk at Costco. My father in law is a Chemist and he told me to use the Chevron stuff so I do, he is the one with the PH.D is the field. He also likes the Redline and Amsoil products, but the Chevron stuff is easiest for me to get since I know of only one shop on the island that sells the other products.

I,ve used Techron in my 911S, G35 sedan and my 2000 S2000. I first started using Techron on the recommendation of the Porsche Club Technical Advisor and this has been over a # of years ago. AT one time I was using Swepco gas additive on the recommendation of the Porsche Club. Swepco became difficult to get so the Porsche Club of America in the technical articles started recommending Techron. I have been using Techron for over ten years now, and also use to use it in my V8 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo that had close to 129,000 miles when I traded it for the G35. I find Techron to be one of the best fuel additives on the market for injection cleaning and also as a fuel additive.

I was just at the gas station the other day when the idiot started to put 89 regular in my tank. I realized half way throgh. I had the rest filled with 93 octane and than added octane booster. I was wondering if I should take it easy on this tank of gas?

Also, if I added octane booster into say 94 premium gas, would there be any noticable differences?

From what I understand, no there would'nt be any conceivable differences, higher octane gas is just insurance for your engine by protecting against detonation in high compression engines, its not gonna make it run any faster
