Hockey,

My statement was based on experience that only rather extreme condiitions - long left turn at full side load with revs high in second followed by full throttle in second - causes the problem for me and others I have heard from. If it does it more easily, then that suggests something else is at fault.

Since an '04 with low mileage is under warranty I'd just head for the dealer and demonstrate the problem. It could be anything in the fuel system. It might not even be fuel. Could be a bad electrical connector or wire that opens or shorts on a left turn in fuel, ignition, sensors or ECU. If you never get a check engine though it is probably fuel supply.

You said there could be other things wrong if it does it during daily driving, what do you think could be wrong? There is only 4K miles on it too. I'm not 100% sure, but i think it has done it when my tank was full as well (or pretty close to full).
