Default fuel cut off switch.

i know we already have the chip in our keys. but does anybody know how hard it would be to maybe make a switch or something under the dash that you can flick on or off that would cut off fuel from flowing to the engine? just another way to make it harder to take the car. thanks.

I would like an answer to this question as well. My friend owns an Integra Type-R and I am getting an S2000 withing the next few weeks; he/I want to do the same. Something that will keep a car theif from taking the car unless the switch is found (but will be in a VERY HARD PLACE TO FIND)

If anybody has done this or knows somebody who has please let me/us know!
Does this void any type or warranty either?

you can wire a switch into one of the lines going to the main pgm-fi relay under the dash. just about any of them will cause the car not to start, but i'd suggest pin 2 (starter switch) if you put a switch on there, and it's off/open, nothing is going to happen. no spark, no fuel. better than pin 4, which would give you spark but no fuel, or pin 5, which would give you fuel but no spark.

you could also just take the main pgm-fi relay with you. it's under the dash on the driver's side. easy to pull out, a bit harder to put back in.

on the other hand, a thief who can get around the immobilizer will probably be able to jump the relay socket (if he knows the pin outs)
