Default Fuel Cutting out at 7K RPM's When engine is cold

It seems that whenever the engine isn't yet warm enough, the fuel cut off is about 7K and themn when it warms up, it's fine. Is my thinking correct that there is some sort of safety? or is something seriously wrong with my car? LOL

thanks for the help

This is normal behavior.

It's a safety feature to safeguard the engine... high revs or stress or load on a cold or not warmed up engine is not a good thing.

I woudn't be "LOL". If your car is not up to temp the oil is too thick and can't lubricate the motor. The F20C is equiped with an oil pressure based fuel cut off. Most here agree not to attempt V-TEC prior to 3 bars of temp showing on the water temperature.
