Default Fuel filter

Quick and stupid question that I could not find the answer to in the handbook.

Does our S2000 have a fuel filter that needs replacing? If yes, when?

Thanks,

Archon

I'll have to check, but the last several Honda filters I've looked at were "lifetime" filters. They would need replacing, but not until after probably 100k miles- they are HUGE and should work well for a long, long time unless you get a LOT of crap in your tank.

The fuel filter is in the tank and replacement is only specified when it is causing a pressure drop. The last study of fuel filters I saw said that the number one thing they capture is metal particles from scrapping the pump nozzle on the filler pipe.. maybe you never need a filter if you are careful at fill ups.

I bought a new one at 30k cuz I'm always trying to keep my car like brand new... but then I read the installation procedure and said f*ck it. Too much work if it doesn't need replacing. I should check my fuel pressure tho just to be sure.
