Default fuel pressure regulator

I am missing the piece for my comptech kit that replaces the stock fpr with the an fitting. until I get that part can I use the stock fpr with my fmu/fpr unit from comptech? also, if I can where would I mount my fuel pressure guage so that I can tweak the pressure.

NO.

The pressure will be limited to that of the smaller regulator. You'll lean it out and be sorry.

the regulator is on the return side, it wouldnt lean it out. if it was restricting the pressure would stay high.

Fuel pressure would be dictated by the higher pressure unit ONLY IF both FPRs are inline (no fuel flow can by-pass the higher pressure one).

the vortech fmu doesn't incorporate a regulator in the fmu. the comptech uses an all in one adjustable unit. so the vortech system may or may not use the factory regulator, I'm not sure.

If you mount the Comptech downstream of the OEM it would work theoretically (as per the Vortech) but I think it would be as much trouble as sourcing or fabricating a mount for the fuel rail.
