So i can start the car just fine, car doesnt bog or anything no missfires...but what bothers me is that the fuel pump isnt as loud as it used to be when priming.

IE: when i put the key to the ON position i should be able to hear the pump prime and its pretty loud too. But now its like a whisper very faint too...

happened after i swapped the engine to a 2.2

Mods are ACL bearings
2.2L engine
03 ecu
everything else is stock.

Should i change the pump out anyways? or should i just not care?

I get 380miles to the tank on highway and about 280-310 on city driving/daily/vtec'n.

 

if its working fine.. leave it

 

The sound from the pump does vary over time. Yours may become loud again.

 

I barely (if ever) hear my pump.
