Default Fuel Regulator in 06+ AP2

hello. where is the fuel regulator in 06+ AP2? is it inside the gas tank? I need to check the fuel regulator to see if its the issue with my car throwing a p0172 condition.

Anyone who has a service manual for an 06+, if you can scan or let me know where I can download it to see. I have a 04-05 service manual which doesn't help as the 06 is returnless fuel system vs return.

any help is appreciated!!

Regulator is in the tank and part of the fuel pump housing assembly. Item #2 in photo below.

Why don't you hook up a pressure gauge outside the fuel tank to verify pressure?

you first need to check fuel psi. this can be done from the fuel lines under the hood with the proper tools. The pressure should be 380-430 kPa (3.9-4.4 kgf/cm2, 55-63 psi).
