Default Fuel system service

I have around 60K on my car and this service isnt in the manuel, so it is necessary? Also the dealer wants $200 and I went to a goodyear and they were charging $190.

These prices refer to which "service" exactly? The fuel filter is in the tank and is part of the pump assembly, so they're not changing that. Is this just some sort of fuel injection cleaning service? I'd be curious to know what the dealer is doing for $200!

its just a EFI service.. they just put some fuel injector cleaner in the fuel tank.. and run a pressurized tank of injector cleaner thru the tb to clean off all the carbon build up in the intake system and valves

200 too much but thats how much most places charges.. i dont know if i would do it.. but when i get some miles on my s i would do something similar

Throw some fuel injector cleaner in your gas tank and call it a day. 200 sounds like a rip.
