Default Fumoto Oil Valve

Ok, How much oil stays behind when draining oil thru a fumoto Drain valve? It seems to me that because we need the adapter in our cars that it raises the opening which leaves more oil in the pan compared to the stock drain bolt. Any opinions???

I haven't noticed a difference in the amount of oil it takes to refill since I installed the valve. It still takes me 5+ quarts. If you drain the oil with the car level from front to back, but jacked up a bit on the driver side, the valve should have no effect.
