Default gearbox speed sensor wiring

Hi Guys,

Im using an s2000 gearbox in a kit car and i wish to know what outputs the pins are? top, middle and bottom?
I cannot ask about wire colours because i do not even have the loom plug that plugs into the sensor!!

which pin is positive 12v input, ground and speed output?

thanks in advance guys!

This will be in reference to the engine side of the harness so you will have to reverse it to the transmission. Looking at the engine side connector with the latch at 12 o'clock (2 ribs up):

Pin 1 at left

Pin1 is 12 volt reference voltage
Pin 2 is VSS sensor output
Pin3 is ground

thanks guys,
I have read on another website that the voltage required to "power" this sensor is 5v dc and not 12v????

Im planning to have this working using an integra dc5 cluster - heres hoping!!
