General Auto Knowledge
I have a general idea of how an engine works, but I get lost when people start talking about upper and lower halves of built engines.
Could someone point me in the right direction of either websites or books I could read to get a better understanding of auto mechanics.
I've been reading this site a lot, but I need to learn more of the basics before I can really get the value out of all the information here.
I plan on installing a super charger on my S a bit after I move. I've read the instructions for some of the bolt on kits and I would be comfortable following those directions. I would be lost without having a kit though, and anything further than that is beyond my knowledge. That is what I would like to change.
Thanks for any replies.

Howstuffworks might be up your alley: http://auto.howstuffworks.com/engine.htm
They have other car topics from super/turbo chargers to brakes and suspension. They often have nice flash animation to illustrate what they're talking about.

This is an awesome video explaining how a differential works. It was made by GM in the 1930s and is the clearest explanation you'll ever hear.

I find the Honda manuals to be really well written. I really think I could learn how to fix cars reading their manual if I didn't already know how.
