Getting the S2k ready for storage
Hey guys,
Moving to Japan next year, been trying to sell my car in Australia with not a lot of luck. A lot of low ballers and time wasters, but nothing else so far.
So I'm putting it in to storage until I come back. So I am wondering what I need to do to get it ready for storage?
Drain all fluids.
Disconnect and remove battery.
Leave in Garage
Cover with a car cover
...
Profit?
Have I missed anything?

owners manual says fill the tank with good fuel, jack stands to get the weight off the tires and a few other things i forget.
i also hear of this product you spray into the spark plug holes thats supposed to stick to the cylinder walls to protect them for extended periods of time when not being run. might want to look into that as after 2 years piston rings get sticky

- Add fuel stablizer and fill tank
- Change the oil/filter
- You could "Fog" the engine, but not nessessary
- Disconnect the battery and put it on a battery tender
- Inflate the tires to 50 psi
- Unlock the softtop latches
- Leave the windows slightly down
- plug up exhaust tips (stop mice from making home)
- cover intake (stop mice from making home)
When you get back, pull the fuel pump fuse and crank the engine a few times to get the oil ciculating, then reconnect the fuse and start the car.
