[QUOTE]
Now my question is this. I've had what seems like a dragging TO bearing. Clutch in and the car drags a bit while still in gear. A blip of the throttle will release it. Could the extra heat of this recent track day have caused the bearing to stick even more?

There have also been cases where the input shaft to the trans is corroded (spline area) and this will prevent the clutch disk from sliding on the shaft. There are also some other parts related to the TO bearing that wear out also due to poor lubrication.

^ That's the other thing I was thinking of. There's just way too many variables to just gabber on about here without actually pulling it out.

I think I'll just go with the ACT clutch pacakge from HT guy and have the other areas cleaned and relubed for good measure.

If I still have issues then I'll tear the transmission out again and look at my options for replacement.

How did you flush the clutch fluid? One-man or Two-man? I ask because I tried to do the one-man flush (as posted on this forum) and all it lead to was a soft clutch pedal.

It was done at a good local shop that know the S2000 inside and out.

Good luck, keep us posted.

Thx for the heads up. I was in a hurry to get ready for school and I just had the dealer do my tranny with Honda's MTF. And at only 35,000 miles I'm not expecting any cluth issues for a while.

20-30 min on a track at constant vtec is different than hard street driving.

I guess I'm the only one who has had the most track days (5) on the GMSMFM before a change, without a shifting problem (yet, knock on wood). But then, I don't shift hard on the track and do rev-match on every downshift.
