something like this is a good tool to have vacuum bleeder

you attach the hose to the bleeder screw, and you can watch for air through the clear hose. my setup is a lot like this.

My bad. I pump the pedal misunderstood what gravity bleeding is. Part of the reason I am not allowed to work on the car unsupervised !!!!!

not necessarily your bad. i have a kit that's the same as the one i posted, except you pump the pedal. just means you need another person around.
