Default Greddy Emanage Ulitmate help needed

i had a shop install the greddy emanage ulitmate to try to stay legal in Honda Challenge. the shop is 4+ hours roundtrip though for me to go back and see if they can figure it out.......blaaaaa...

my car now misses / pops at 6000rpm and 7500rpm and there is a dip in hp as it does that (i had a local place dyno the car).

They hardwired the Greddy into my car... is there any way to just shut it off to see if the tune / greddy is the problem? It has all these little switches on the side...can i just shut those off and have the car run on the stock ecu?

I don't want to drive 4-5 hours and I don't want to pay a local place to undo everything to find out it was something else anyway.....

thanks

not sure exactly what you mean by hardwired...I have the harness on mine and all you have to do is pull the three plugs coming from the unit.

i have no idea why they couldn't just get a harness but for some odd reason they spent a lifetime splicing into my wires..... a harness would have been a lifetime easier and probably cheaper than paying all the labor I had to.

they said a harness was not available at that time???

oh...why don't you just call the place that installed it and ask them how to turn the damn thing off.

i thought I would find out from people who know for sure..... I figured someone here knows as well as them..... they told me to bring the car back and they would try to figure it out.... with my luck it is not even related and i would have wasted a complete day with this.....

your problem may have been solved but there was mention of being able to flip a dip switch in the new england thread on the topic.

New England Section Thread

but it's long and I believe it doesn't specify which one.

i'ts a shame they didn't use a harness, it is my understanding that they are available.
