Default Grind at revving

Hi guys,

I haven't found a solution so i startet up a new one.

I bought an S 2000 3 Weeks ago and this noise is mocking me.
I found this vid that sums it up pretty nice.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uqvXGF8-pM

When u skip to 03:10 when he starts revving the engine this cyclic *ch ch ch* at start and when the engine decelerates again.
U can also hear it nice at 04:28 when he releases the throttle from the back this time though.

Noise is only at the start or when releasing, if u hold the throttle it disappears and sounds normal. (just like in the vid)
It's also sometimes after start up especially when the engine is cold 1-2 seks but never comes back at idle once the engine is running.

Friend of mine said propably the belt tensioner.

Any suggestions?

It's a 2007 with 30k miles on it.

Very easy to diagnose the belt tensioner. Just remove the belt, and see if noise still there.

Don't run it this way for more than a min or two, as no coolant will be circulating.

You don't have to fully remove belt. Just undue the tension and slide it off tensioner pully.

In this state you can also spin the tensioner pully, see if it spims smooth and noise free.

I'm 5 min you can rule out or confirm tensioner.

But be sure it's far away from the crank pulley of course, if you're running the motor this way
