i did my search im just trying to see if the is the best way to do this.
So i bought a S a while ago its a 2000 with about 94k miles, i dident notice that there was a grind in the 3rd gear only noticed in high rpm. so im going to try to change the motor mounts and tranny mounts with either the inline pro or the innovative 85 bushing mount kit. when i bought the car i change to Honda Manual transmission fluid dident work so good so i tried the mt-90 it was a lil better than the honda one then i tried some gm syncrotech and it works better not as notchy but still grinds under load i bled the clutch line. i just got in the mail a challenge brand braided clutch line. so im going to try to put that on. but what im getting to is i have the option to buy a brand new spoon transmission for a good price its for a ap2 so i read that you just have to change the companion flange... should i buy it and just swap the trans? thanks for your input...

 

yeah just go ahead and buy a new one, you have done just about everything that you could do to fix it, my first suggestion would have been the GM syncromesh stuff which is what i use and love bc it fix mine...

 

Ok thanks yah I just picked up the spoon tranny today and Im going to order the innovate motor/trans mount combo unless someone says the inline pro is better

 

So I got some innovate motor/trans mounts in 85..Just ordered that today got the modification grinding short shifter on the way. Yesterday I picked up a spoon trans so I'm just gonna wait on the mounts ad try to install it..
