Thumbs up Guage cluster is flickering.... :(

Hey guys-
I recently had a Comptech S/C installed and this problem seems to be linked...

The guage cluster will "flicker" while at idle or very low RPM's... As soon as the RPM's go up-- The problem goes away...???

Any Ideas?

Thanks,
Matt

Is the car pulling power from the battery when at idle? Is the alternator only producing power when under load??

I always thought you could pull the battery out once the car was running, and it would run until you shut it off?

replace your alternator to fix the issue. For some reason, if you have autozone run a test on it, but it will still come back fine.

i'd replace the battery before i get to the alternator. If it doesnt fix it, then return the battery and move on to the alternator.

I think you need to do some more tests to figure out what it is. Or you can do the shotgun method and go buy a bunch of stuff and see if it fixes it.
