H.I.D. Bulb replacement
Hi people, Im new to the forums, I just got my s2k like a month ago. Its a 2004 and I need some help with replacing the HID bulbs from the stock ones's (4300K)to the new one's with are 12000k, the bulbs already come in but im a little confused on the way they should be replaced . If any one has any experience with this PLEASE HELP, thanks. I think Im going to like this forums.
The service manual advises that you secure the radio code before proceding.
Light switch on steering column OFF.
Disconnect negative battery terminal, then positive.
Remove front part of inner fender (where you tire is).
Disconnect the 2P connector harness.
Remove Torx bolt with T25 bit.
Turn cover disc 45 degrees c. clock and take it out.
Pull retaining spring away from the bulb, then remove the socket and bulb.
Turn the bulb 45 degrees c. clock to remove from socket.
Install in reverse.
A mod please move this into UTH and close this. He's posted this exact same thread elsewhere.
