Default had idle issue, fixed but...

i had idle idle issues, the problem was the throttle position sensor was not is the right place....

after a couple hours of the car getting fix, i'm getting a CEL

COde: P0411 Secondary Air Injection System Incorrect Flow Detected

what can be?

what need to be replace?

Its your secondary air pump that aids in the warming of the cat converter so that it gets to optimum temp faster, hence reducing cold start emissions. It is not a catostrophic problem, it is expensive and they have put a TSB out on it so it is a "Normal problem"

Don't complicate things. Just check the vac routing, and direction of white check valve(#1). Cures P0411 90% of the time.

You mention you had "idle problems" and as such you were probably reving the engine in some form. This can also set the P0411 code as well. I have seen it on several cars after people installed intakes and sat there reving it up to see how it sounded or impress their friends. I may even know someone very close that did this with their own new AEM .

hmm i get the Secondary pump code "Incorrect flow" i cannot remember the actually code # right now, but my pump has an obvious hole melted off the housing so half of the flow is going into the atmosphere...
