Half power / bogs but no check engine
Hey everyone, I am looking for advice on what could be wrong with my car. Back story I was driving the car like normal did a second to third gear pull shifted at around 8800rpms car lost half power and the oil light came on. Pulled over turned it off checked oil level was dead center. Started the car again no light but car had half the power and sounds like it is hesitant at low rpms / sort of like a diesel / Subaru.
At first I thought maybe I spun a bearing but when I drained the oil there was no shavings , Oil filter as well. I have had the car started multiple times since then and figured it would have seized by now etc especially since I drove it about 10 minutes home after the incident. I did a compression test came back 220 , 225 ,227, 230. Did it multiple times to insure readings. I have 107k miles and I have only owned it for about 500 miles. Previous owner did Timing chain and tensioner. Could my timing jumped a tooth and now is making the car run like garbage? Could it maybe be an injector or coil going and not throwing a check engine light ? Here are some photos of the timing. Two sets of photos first is when cams are lined up and crank is off by a bit and second is crank lined up and then cams look off on intake side. The car still starts right up and idles normal. Top end was definitely rebuilt at some point as well for some reason or another. Looking for some options on what it could be and if it was the timing being off if I could adjust it by 1 tooth without taking it all apart. Thanks in advance.

could you do a leakdown test, could be a valve related issue.

Timing looks fine. The compression numbers also indicate the cam timing is fine.
Do a leakdown anyway.
Are your spark plugs and coil packs ok?
Is your catalyst broken or clogged?

Just changed the spark plugs , I did a valve adjustment. Coils I did not test yet and I have not checked the Catalyst to see if clogged or broken. Figured I would get a check engine code for that.

So does the car drive okay, now? Or still no power?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I have not taken the car out of the driveway but it still feels the same in the throttle after valve adjustment and sparkplugs. Its very hesitant at low rpms like it wants to die out and I can feel vibrations in like pedal.

Do a leakdown test.
Did all four of the old spark plugs have a uniform look? Long-distance diagnosis sounds like one bad cylinder.
Do you have one known-good coil that you can put into each position, to test for a bad coil?
Not a possibility of bad gasoline?

Results I got from doing a leakdown test today. Still have no idea what could be causing the car these issues. Going to see if I can check maybe a bad coil or injector and its not throwing a check engine code.
