hardtop squeeky noise

Default hardtop squeeky noise

so lately I've been hearing this weird clinging noise behind the passenger side. I was thinking if you guys thought that removing the hardtop and spraying some silicone spray to get it not to squeek anymore. Unless you guys know of another way to get rid of this noise I would be greatful for any suggestions thanks.

should work but it may create a mess. The creaking and moaning is of course a side-product of our ever so stiff from the factory chassis that doesn't require any sort of stiffening by a cage due to the lack of a roof.

Shin-Etsu grease works great for preventing squeaks and preserving your rubber seals. You may want to read this thread:
