Seeing where it is located i have no idea how i can get to it without removing the intake manifold. I've searched all over DIYs. Even Billman's picture of where it is located looks like the engine is out of the car.

Has anyone done this, and is there an easier way? Seems like a 5 minute job but getting to the location could take hours.

Appreciate any insight.

I think it's possible but certainly not an easy task.
Removing the intake manifold is probably more time consuming and not worth it.

is this by the firewall?

was your coolant temp going wonky?

I had that issue and i used by tested fix of unplugging and plugging it back in. i was able to do this reaching in with my hand and acquiring some scrapes.
