You can look under the car from the rear of the vehicle and see the cat no problem.

I think this is normal INCLUDING if you have no cat, my S has had some puffs of smoke when stopping ever since I bought it with 40k. First mod was a test pipe and sometime I had a small blue(oil) smoke cloud float by me but nothing huge.

What oil are you using? It doesn't take much oil to make a lot of smoke.

It's got a cat. Doesn't look stock though. Too shiney.

Oil is 5w-30w. Currently winter in Australia. Max of 13-16C on most days (60F I think?).

PVC valve, bought the car not long ago, so not sure when/if that would have been changed.

It's weird, it doesn't happen every time I stop, just occasionally, some times a decent cloud of smoke will float by, other times only a little. The smell is like the car is running way too rich, but it doesn't have an after market ECU or anything. Hasn't been tuned differently from stock.

Only engine related mods are the headers, cat, and cat back exhaust. (Amuse 70mm manifold, hiflo cat of some form, greddy Ti-C single 70mm)

AP1s oil smoke a little after spirited driving (pretty common phenomenon for autocrossers). Try Krank Vents or a catch can.
