Default Rubber door window seals.

Hi Guys

Tried searching various combinations, but can't seem to find what I'm after.

The Honda part name is: WEATHERSTRIP, R. ROOF CORNER DOOR
Seen here: http://www.hondapartsnow.com/interior_bump...~top~frame.html

How do I attach this to the frame? Does it glue on, and if so - what glue should I use. I've tried clipping it on, but it keeps coming off.

Thanks

I've never actually taken mine apart, but I can almost bet they are like any other cars. There is a plastic clip that almost looks like a drywall anchor. They attach to the weather strip and then to the soft top frame. Good luck. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Actually there are no clips on that part. It should slide and stay put into #12. No glue is required.

I would just pull it off and try to reattach it. Was your soft top replaced? If so, then it was most likely installed incorrectly.

slides into a groove. silicone grease or some very soapy water will help you remove and reinstall.

Thanks - that's what I've been reading, that it just attaches.

I've already had the one seal taken by the wind, and that cost $100 over here. Got the new one and it also comes loose.

And yes, the top was replaced with an EZ-On top - by a supposed professional installer - can't say I'm a 100% happy with the installation, but I guess that's what you get in Africa.

Just to confirm, Nr12 is a metal strip? Just making sure all the parts are there.

Yes, its a metal strip. when they swapped the top they had to remove it and reattach it. It probably got bent.

Remove the seal, then remove the metal strip (its held on by some phillips screws) and test the seal off the car. You might need to bend the metal strip back into shape.

Thanks - I'll give it a try tonight.

Really worried about loosing another one of these considering the cost to get them here.
