Having issues fitting the J's cooling plate

Maybe take off the J's intake then try the cooling plate again by itself .... good luck.

the intake fitment isn't the issue though, it's the cooling plate. intake fits fine.

What I might end up trying is moving the latch upwards a little. The cooling plate is only maybe 2mm thick and if it closes fine with the rubber seal in there and not with the plate, then it's that 2mm of difference that's causing that, so I figure if I move it up just a little and it should latch down. We'll see.

I have the Seibon model and I had to take a Dremmel grinding cone to it to get a perfect fit. I was leary about grinding CF, but it was easy. I widened all of the bolt holes, made cuts for the fender bolts and made a "factory" looking opening around the hood latch. Didnt take long, but fits like a glove.
